I found this very helpful, and I felt so relieved upon using this trick in my own slides, it saves me tonnes of un-necessity in presenting my graphs, thanks alot.

Thanks. But this is more for getting a more artistic lens like effect. You cannot zoom any area of the presentation at will during the presentation. If you want the ability to zoom any part of your charts, DO NOT use this method. There is a much simpler way. During the presentation just press the + (plus) button. It gives you three levels of zoom + + + To zoom out, press the minus key -. While zoomed in, drag the mouse to pan to any area of the slide. Notice that the cursor now becomes a hand (pan cursor). This is the perfect effect to show a scientific paper, and then zoom into the key Highlights.

Yes. Papers, explaining complex diagrams, zooming in on parts of an equation or formula ... endless scenarios.

No. Once you expert as video, it is hard coded. Cannot change path of zoom level.

Just at another opaque shape on top of the lens, use same animation and finally, animate it to fade out when needed.

Office 365 is a collection of many apps. One of them is SharePoint. It does have some free helpdesk templates. But full-fledged tool is more of a business application. Try the Dynamics suite of products for this purpose.
