If you're familiar with our content you know we specialize in leveraged life insurance strategies such as infinite banking, be your own bank, and the immediate financing arrangement for Canadian business owners and high-income professionals.
These strategies build up cash value inside a life insurance policy to use as an asset and then leverage the policy to invest in other things.
Often when people think about life insurance they think of it as an expense, or a drain on their income.
Today we’re going to be talking about how you can use life insurance as an investment.
We’ll mainly be talking about participating whole life insurance, but some of this will be the same if using a universal life policy.

It depends. Not every insurance broker sets these policies up for large cash values like we do. Happy to chat more. You can schedule a time through our website here safepacific.com/contact/

Hi. Nice content overall to help people understand some valuable features of this 'tool', whole life insurance contracts. Most Canadians just have no clue- thank you for helping to educate. HOWEVER- I do have a major problem with your title and premise that insurance is ' an investment' or how to 'use life insurance as an investment' . This is highly problematic and even dicey when it comes to your compliance with provincial regulations governing life- licensed agents ( which I assume you are as you are discussing such products liberally and with authority). This is taking a risk with your license ( just a professional, courteous friendly looking out for you ). In terms of the public message - this portion I would say is doing a dis-service to them as it is highly misleading. Life insuramce is life insuramce- protection for individuals, families and corporations against the untimely or eventual passing away of individuals who are deemed to have significant financial impact on another individual, family or group/corporation. Period. It is not an investment where one should expect ( or a life-licensed agent should promote) a 'return on investment per se, though the environment it creates does grow capital. There is a fine, but significant distinction- difficult for the average person to distinguish at first glance. When you say that comparing it to 'stocks, and other investments'is " completely missing the point" it is ironic b/c your very post title is playing right into that- this contributing actively to this misunderstanding and resulting confusion. I believe your intent is solid and legitimate, just to be clear. I am just pointing out that the implication and suggestion of this useful tool for efficient tax-advantaged cash warehousing and management as an investment is a nominal fallacy and irresponsible at the least, deceptive and in violation of duty of care at most. I hope these words are taken with the good spirit they are intended- just want us all to win, and do so by maintai ing integrity, honesty, and clarity. Thank you, and keep up the great efforts to help Canadians!
