There is a problem I made the same application seeing this video and the I downloaded it in my android phone nd it was 👌 but when I test it was 👌 but when I take the app out of the app list and again open it the app doesn't show the items I added in the list and instead of the my items it shows the items which we add during making the application BrainDump.

I have thunkable pro but I don't have the icons at the top that you used. How did you get the 3 icons at the top next to the name of the app? What does it do?

Those used to be used to show and hide the Thunkable tree. They were replaced a few months back by the drag and collapsable thunkable tree we have now

The Thunkable X List Viewer currently only supports text items, so there is no way to add icons. But you could use the alert feature to give users this option like I did in this video.

Hi Darren. Thank you so much for this tutorials. I learned a lot. I have a little problem. I made this to do app but when the list contains many rows the keyboard hides Textbox during input. I have tried with different layouts and scrollable settings but i can fix this. Could you please give some advice?

This is good stuff. I would love to see a video of how the Any Components (Specifically, the Switch component) works with Real time or local DB. If you do create a video, this would be a first of it's kind. There is nothing out there that shows how to use the Any Component to save to a database and, more importantly, how to retrieve from the database and then post the values to each switch in your app.

Cool idea! I would probably want to break this into multiple videos. But the center of the app would revolve around the list viewer. I think I’d want to wait until the list viewer is more customizable, as you would want to show at least the review subject, stars, and rating for each review. You should get started on this and reach out to the Thunkable community with questions! community.thunkable.com

I really wish there was a tutorial on how to show multiple items in a listview. there are dozens of videos for the older versions but not for thunkable x

What do you mean by multiple items? The list viewer currently only allows you to show text. So you could use a join block to add multiple text items. But you can’t show pictures or links yet.

What I am thinking to do is to create a app which contains two features chat and forums As of now I am working on forums What I am able to achieve is to store data in spreadsheet : tittle and description The tricky part is comments. When ever user comment on something I can surely store it in spreadsheet but I am not able to think a way so that it links to the same row on which the title of the forum is created. As there are comments on the previous comments I am unable to find a solution or way to use spreadsheet that I can get them in list viewer ... Forums : like twitter Regarding chat: if I store chat msgz in spreadsheet how I can design it in way that people will be able to click and reply on it like WhatsApp or telegram

@@tijendersingh5363 I would advise you take a look at storing in the Realtime DB instead of the spreadsheet. This will allow you to store objects. My next few videos will be about the Realtime DB, so stay tuned! Until then... docs.thunkable.com/realtime-db For your chat app idea, I can't think of a clean way to do this in Thunkable X. There are few examples in Thunkable Classic. Are you storing the list in a stored variable? Make sure it’s not at the app level. Make sure you are not recreating the variable or setting it to an empty or null list every time the app opens. Once you are storing correctly, are you populating the list in the ui when the app opens?
