You could just connect to your phones hotspot and then you can use the google map without going through Apple or Android

You could just enter your destination into Android Auto Google maps app in your truck and skip messing with your phone. You just have to make sure that your phone is connected.

Dude this is the absolute worst way since you’re not even using the built in app anymore. Here’s what you ACTUALLY DO: 1) go to apps and disable google assistant, this will get rid of the maps app closing itself. 2) got to the BUILT IN MAPS APP and go to settings/offline maps. 3) connect to wifi or use phone data sharing to your truck so the built in app can temporarily get data 4) use the offline maps downloader and download every map you need This will enable you to search, get navigation, use your SPEED SIGN FEATURE, everything. Your tutorial is basically saying to use the not built in app, much respect but you really should update this video. Cheers

How in God's name to you hook up Android Auto? I've been wrestling with this for days! It doesn't seem as easy or intuitive as it should be. Ugh

@@Pboy7272 Great Question - I probably should've covered this bit in the video. To install Android Auto, you'll want to go to your Play Store (the appstore), search for it, and then perform the free download. Once it's downloaded on your phone, you'll need to connect your phone to your vehicle via Bluetooth and then you can follow the process I provide in this video. Hope this helps!
