Great video breakdown especially the movement piece. That was eye opening.

This came in clutch! I was lost after my match on what to do next. Trying to let everything soak in. Found my next goals for my training using this method.

I want to go learn USPSA shooting. Then, I see how much of the game is planning and remembering stages... and I realize I would suck.

Only get better by doing. Everyone sucks at first

On the plus side, with very few exceptions, your stage plan doesn’t actually matter very much. Lots of world class shooters have demonstrated this by shooting a stage the “best” way then the “worst” way and they are typically only a few tenths of a second slower. With that being said, to get really good at practical shooting, you mostly need to work on your shooting fundamentals until they are at a very high level. Mix in the “Designated Target” drill and some “mini-stages” during your training where you focus on the mental aspect of visualizing the stage before you shoot it and you’ll see big improvements at matches. Go shoot and have fun!

Cool. I like these kinds of analytical breakdowns.

Great analysis. Its a great breakdown and comparison as to how much time you can save by doing certain things differently. Definitely highlights a lot of the things i need to work on myself on how to move and shoot through a stage.

Bro, absolutely pumped to get a session in with you next month! Very much looking forward to it. Always appreciate the content, super helpful stuff.

Awesome! Absolutely love this analysis. One thing that you might know already is in the practiscore competitor time chart, you can change it from the overall time to the split times using the menu button (three dots top right). This way, you get the visual understanding of where someone was faster.

This was really cool. I often wonder where specifically I give up time to competition at matches but just don’t have the technology to analyze it. Thanks for breaking down your stages!
