Hey there, have you experienced any drying with maxforce quantum?? Im applying it as spot treatment on my doorframe(interior) but it dries up in a day. Is this normal??? I checked the manufacturing day on my tube and it isn’t even that old, it’s manufactured in July of this year.

If you are applying directly to the window it is likely that it would dry out if it gets direct sunlight or the window frame absorbs moisture. You should try using it mixed and in a bait station near those areas. That will hlep keep it fresh.

@@domyown thanks for the answer! What do you mean by mixed? Diluting with water and sugar??
@domyown Жыл бұрын
Yes, that is correct!

@@domyown thanks a ton!!! Do you still suggest using the official dilution ratio on maxforce quantum label (8 part water sugar solution + 1 part maxforce) since Im not dealing with a large colony outside?

We apologize. For indoor applications, you should apply undiluted but using the bait in a bait station will help keep it fresh. Here are the rates listed below. Indoors: apply at rates up to 2.0 g per 100 sq ft of floor space. For example, apply 10 x 0.2-g bait placements (ca. 1/4 inch Spots) in a 100 square foot kitchen in the areas where ants are seen or reported to be foraging. Outdoors: apply spots or beads of bait up to 0.2 g of bait per placement in areas where ant activity is observed. Entrance to Ant Nests: inject up to 2.0 g of bait directly into nest entrance. Along Active Foraging Trails: apply 0.6 g of bait per 10 linear feet of ant trail, distributing the bait in a number of spots or in a series of small beads (1/8 inch wide, and 1 to 2 inches long) next to foraging trails.

It takes a while and u gotta put it at the source areas such as their trail lining and what not. They gotta take the bail back home and then the home uses it as a source of food so it’s not rapidly but it works for the long run as it kills the Queen ant and other ants just takes a little bit prior

Also don’t use bait stations no need for it my mom is an exterminator as bad as it sounds just put it in the trail if it’s out of way of other animals. The bait stations is used to be avoided being sued

Carpenter ants?
@domyown8 ай бұрын
Maxforce Quantum is not labeled for carpenter ants. Here's a page we have on our site dedicated to products labeled for carpenter ant control, though www.domyown.com/carpenter-ant-control-c-1_177.html

Does it work for small sweet ants?
@domyown2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does. Maxforce Quantum does work for a large variety of ants including sweet feeding ants.
