My team works on huge projects and we have more than 10 models. In order to overcome the max model merge limitation, is it thinkable to have a "nested merge" project? for example, 20 models are first merged into groups of 2, then each of the 10 doubles got merged again into one single project.

Hi. Very nice video and well explained. I use D5 regularly and the merge projects is s a must for my team and I. But I fail to see what's the need for saving the file with both 3d models as a separate D5 file. The merge project action will create a different D5 file anyway. Or it's me that I don't get the workflow? Thanks.

Hi thanks for the good words. Are you saying that you want one of the original files to be updated after merge instead of a combination of the two projects?

My question refers to the workflow explained at the beginning (1:16min) where the user import 2 different 3d models and then save the file as a D5 format and rename the folder (at 2:09min). Why is this required previous to the merge projects workflow (explained at 3:12min)? as the merge projects will create a new D5 file anyway. Hope this is clearer now

What if you want to amend or update? Is it done in the original file and then synchronize?

In this case, you'll need to edit the original files and then merge again.
