I noticed that a lot of artists are doing Djamel Belghomari's technique just like he does in his video but that most of them don't mention him as inspiration. That's something he talks about in his videos, too. You've got class, Girlfriend. 😻 Love this. Sm0ooo0o0o00oches

Amazing for a lazy day design! 😍 I used to use Krystal Resin, but it was yellowing in the container before I could even use it... a horrible product not worth any discount! 🤨 I'm definitely going to start using KS Resin. 😊 I love how you always have a little sparkle in your art. 🤗

This beautiful and was fun to watch. I watch his video’s, but he does not answer questions. I was interested in what kind of paint he but in water to make a marble painting. The one I was interested in was the gold he poured over water then dipped a black canvas over the gold. It was gorgeous. Would know what kind of paint? 🤩💞🤩

Wow seems like everyone is copying Djamal now. I have watched many videos of his going back several years. I am having a hard time finding laminated HDF boards that he uses. Your link goes to gesso boards. I have seen 8x4 ft laminated HDF for bathroom walls. Oh well maybe one day, until then I will just watch others play in the paint with this neat technique.
@RebekahSue Жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm getting the idea that the HDF is not as important as the laminated finish. @DjamelBelghomari has a video where he does a "dip" with a table as his canvas! Instead of lowering a stretched canvas to transfer the design, he uses a plastic bag to remove some of the paint. (Under the magnifying glass on his channel page, search for "table" or "mesa.") Ampersand Claybord for mixed media might also be a good option since it's made for multiple media including watercolor. Since I didn't get Clabord the last time Blick had a sale, I'll be comparison shopping on Prime Day. My own first attempt will probably be glass from a repurposed picture frame. Either that, or an acrylic canvas that I hate since I used Jerry's gloss medium and varnish to mix those paints. Good luck :)
