@poopgle7 жыл бұрын
even if you did it properly a good portion may still hit your tongue, so one can never say if you failed. after emptying your lungs, if you're able to take a long breath, try to start breathing in first while pressing the inhaler, that way the puff is release while you're breathing in. also you need to be in this upright position so your head is at the right angle. the wait is not absolute. the prescription says you should wait for several hours because they don't want you to have side effects. but in case you really have trouble breathing, breathing is more important than side effects.

Why can't you? I have the most trouble breathing at night & sometimes take up to 10+ puffs in the middle of the night. Not reccommended, sure. But nothing worse than trying to rest & you can hear yourself wheezing. If you are taking it wrong, you will most definitely taste it!😝

Right so I got told to use the red one twice in the morning & evening. The blue once in the afternoon. I got told to hold my breath for 3 seconds then breath out again on all 3 of them. So because the doctors told me to use it twice & 2 puffs a time then it's goinna run out by the following month then ain't it? I'm not fick I know I was told. The boots pharmacy told me it should last for 2 months .well it doesn't if people have been told to puff it twice in the morning & twice in the evening.

@ashwoods2110 жыл бұрын
Sorry that's not correct. If you are having an acute asthma attack you can use up to 10 inhalations one after the other. You cannot overdose on a salbutamol inhaler. In copd there is no upper limit. If you need it use it. If you are needing it every 2 hours or so you might need to get a steroid inhaler. Please don't listen to this channels advice, it irresponsible and dangerous.

+Danni P I had asthma for 10 years, day and night. Was using the inhaler very often during the day, and more at night, to the extreme that the doctor at the time told me to stop using it so many times, otherwise, my bronchial tubes would get used to it, and I would never be cured or I would die of a heart attack. I told him, I 'd rather die of a heart attack than of an asthma attack. Eventually I went to see an allergist. He found out I was allergic to many things. Started injecting me on both arms every week, and I have never have asthma again for more than 30 years. Bad cold or wheezing?
