Thanks for the video, I've watched almost all of your playlist on Teams as my job is transitioning to the platform. I'd love a more in-depth run through creating a test/quiz, especially: 1. If you shuffle the questions, does that impact the excel report or does that report always come out in the order in which the quiz was generated? I assume so, because otherwise the excel report would be very messy, but I'm curious (and looking to automate grading for simple mass quizzes :P ) 2. The "text" option for correct answers is a bit unclear, as in how close does the program accept the correct answer, like "8.0001" is counted correct if I put in "8"? I assume not, so that's a pain for calculation-based questions. Agreeing on a sig-fig count up front is a good workaround. 3. How does the "math" feature work exactly? I've been ignoring it but that may help with #2 above. 4. How can I control access and time to the form, say I teach the same class on two different weeks, how is the form protected/accessed and how easy is the excel report to parse for each class? Keep up the great work, I'm learning a lot and helping my team (ha!) at work a lot with your videos.

So glad you work for Microsoft. I have a question. I’m developing a Job Analysis Survey using MS Forms for the first time ever. My survey has Task questions and under each question there’s a two scales 1. Importance and 2. Frequency. There are many different options in how to evaluate Importance and Frequency of job tasks. For example: Question regarding a task. Importance How important is the task to successful job performance? Does Not Apply Moderately Impotent Important Very Important Critical Frequency How often is this job task performed? Does Not Apply Less than Once a Month Monthly Weekly Daily How do I set my scales under each Task question. I have watched several KZbin tutorials and cannot find how to in corporate scales under question. I hope you have time to get back to me. Thank you.

Question, when exporting the results/responses to Excel... 1) why does it show questions that were deleted from the final draft of the form? 2) how do we remove/prevent it from presenting in the spreadsheet if it's not in the final form any more? 3) does this vary on the timing of the draft? Like having already clicked "collect responses" but then going back and editing? 4) if the deleted questions are deleted from the spreadsheet (not hidden), will effect the real-time collection/display/or sequential order of responses? Currently using a form as a liker scale and have the spreadsheet uploaded to Teams for file sharing and is updated once a response it submitted. It's just annoying seeing the previously deleted questions that we felt were not conducive to the information we originally thought we wanted. We could hide those fields, but would prefer it not be there at all.

Hi Kevin. Sorry to compare MS Form with Google Form. But I do hope MS Form is able to do some very convince stuffs such as Timed Quiz (With an add on called Timify) and play room escape game (The current MS Form not allow responders to redo the same section, one point to make quiz like a room escape game it to gice opportunity to try and error, my students enjoy it witb Google Form). It will be lovely if MS Form also have such function. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. I just created my first survey with Forms. However Kevin - im confused. I want them to answer on a Yes/No question. When they answer Yes; i need a bar to pop out for them to fill it out. It seems the only thing I can do is to create a new question, so if they answer "Yes" they will get down to this question where they have to fill out. Bit annoying you cant do that.

You did a great effort in this one. I have one situation that is complex for me so I am looking for some feedback and insight on it. I would like to integrate with Power BI as well. For example, I am creating a form for entry purposes for my hub's programmes reporting. I have 8 hubs and 14 programs that are operated for customers. At the end of the day staff from each hub will enter the events that happen in a day. And I like to create a single form that does all tasks. for instance, if I choose Hub A, then it allows me to select Program 1 then allow me to enter subsequent answers like the number of attendees, time of the event and some questions come along. And if I select program 2 then it should let me enter subsequent answers similarly. I tried to do branching and I find it more challenging. So would you guide me with some insights? Rather than creating separate forms, I would love to integrate all through 1 form and have under the same data sets to analyze. Can anyone share the similar experiences I am facing?

Hi, Im using Microsoft forms to manage my stock Items (Stock in and stock out). My employees fill in a form when stock comes in and they do the same when stock goes out. I tried with some little quizes and Unofurtunately, I am not able to track the email or name of the student once the form is submitted. I am not using an account that is part of an organization but I am using my personal account. I was watching some videos and there are other features when you are no using your personal email like: Just one attempt per person, the option for me to send the score, etc. I would like to know if it's possible to track names, emails and the option to send the score via email as all I see is "anonymous" or this is something that is not available like in the Orgonanization ones?
