How to use Moises to make Drum Covers

Very excited to be partnering with Moises! In this video, I'm going to demonstrate how I use the app to make drum covers. I've been using it for almost a year now and have really been amazed at what it can do.

I only use the click in my DAW. Therefore I can turn it on and off

so your play back is from moises going then to your phone/ interface

I export the song (mp3/wav) to my laptop and then use logic to record

I want to record a drum cover but i cant get rid of click... is there any way? i tried to pan my metronome to left side but i still can hear click on my right side. Please help!

if it’s on the moises app, try turning off the smart metronome when you export the files. Same as in your DAW

Make sure to buy "Pro". NOT "Premium". Mixing out for example drums you can only do in "PRO". I first bought "Premium" and the function did'nt work.

Yes, I have the app but KZbin keeps blocking my videos when I post them. How do I prevent that?

unfortunately some songs will be blocked by KZbin because of copyright laws. some songs will work depending on the country.

How do you rec all the drums into phone? Mix with a mixer, and then some sound card, or what?

I don’t use my phone to record, it’s through mics and logic pro

Hi, I want to use the smart metronome feature during the recording but I dont know how to remove it from the recording after that.

try exporting two files, one with the metronome and one without the metronome. when you’re done recording, just use the file without the metronome

Question: How can I be able to hear the song with metronome using the app and simultaneously hear the drums been recorded in the computer?

Hey Joey! You might have to setup a mix through a mixing board for that if you want to run it with your phone. You could have 1 line for your phone / moises app mix and your drums coming in through a monitor mix. What I like to do is download the mix from my phone to my computer. You can download a custom mix or just separate tracks to your computer. After that I just put the separate tracks (including click track) into your DAW. From there you can monitor your drums through your DAW

Nope, luckily this song isn’t too popular so it is not getting blocked 😂 Yea it depends on the song. I can’t post anything on tiktok but KZbin I find is usually more lenient on some covers. If you post less than 15 seconds, you can usually get away with it on most apps
