The 2 supertrend indicator works best when combined with trendlines and support and resistance levels. The market must also be making higher highs and higher lows. Make sure that the price breaks a previous swing high before taking a long signal and a swing low when taking a short signal. That works best for me…

The problem with this type of indicator is that you don't see the false signals in the past. The buttons disappear and you can no longer see them. therefore a backtest is not informative.
