I've been writing equations in word 2016, but after I updated to word 2019 I can't use the LaTex coding and get immediate feedback in the same way. After typing something like y\bar=\gamma_0, I have to click on the equation box and actively change it to current professional. It then shows the result, but the underlying LaTex coding has to be more exact in order to get it right. Otherwise, it is all pain. Do you have any infor for dealing with this problem?

Sorry for the late reply.Inside the eqn editor, use \cup and \cap for union and intersection symbols. You can also try \bigcup and /bigcap
