I normally will have my multiband compressor after my additive EQ but is some special circumstances I’ll have it before the additive EQ. Most of the time after it.

It’s hard to explain the exact circumstances, but sometimes with certain sounds the high end gets too muted from the multi-band compression. So doing the additive EQ after is slightly more efficient, but if you use a really good multi-band compressor, like fab filter MB, then it is normally never a problem.
