Do you know of any straps that prevent any of the metals from touching skin for people that have metal allergies?

Perhaps go with a 1 piece velcro, which has plastic buckle and where the strap passes underneath the watch so your skin doesn't contact metal case back. These adapters are made of aluminum; most people who have informed me of their allergic reactions with other metal products are folks who are sensitive to stainless steel and the nickel.

Do i just measure the lug width? Is there no way to put just the spring bar where the screws are? The black adaptor won't go too well with the color i have and want to use

It is not practical to use springbars where the screw holes are. The screw holes are too large of diameter for the springbars to function properly.
