1. Power On the System
Turn on your Jeep Renegade and the Uconnect infotainment system will power up automatically.
2. Access the Navigation Menu
Press the “Nav” button on the Uconnect screen to access the navigation system.
3. Enter a Destination
Search by Address:
Select “Where To?” on the screen.
Choose “Address” and enter the address details (country, city, street, and house number).
Confirm the address and select “Go!”
Points of Interest:
Select “Where To?” and then “Points of Interest.”
Search for specific categories (restaurants, gas stations, etc.) or enter a name directly.
Select the desired location and tap “Go!”
4. Map Navigation
The map will display your current location and the route to your destination.
Follow the turn-by-turn directions provided by the system.
You can view different map views (2D, 3D) and zoom in or out using the screen controls.
5. Voice Commands (If Available)
Press the voice command button on the steering wheel.
Speak commands like “Navigate to [address/POI]” to set destinations hands-free.
6. Adjust Settings
You can customize various settings in the navigation system by accessing the “Settings” menu.
Adjust preferences such as route type (fastest, shortest, etc.), map display, and voice guidance volume.
7. Traffic Updates (If Available)
If your Jeep Renegade has a subscription to real-time traffic updates, you can view traffic conditions along your route and receive alternate route suggestions if there are delays.
8. Cancel Route
If you need to cancel the current route, go to the “Where To?” menu and select “Stop Route.”
9. Update Maps (If Required)
Periodically update your navigation maps to ensure you have the latest route information. This can usually be done through the Uconnect system or by visiting the Jeep website for updates.
