Like how you demonstrated dark & light values to show contrast. Was that white oil pastel you used toward the end to indicate clouds?

what tool do you use? panpastel itens is dry pastel?

Its like a painting goes thru an ugly period and then all of a sudden it all comes together you just have to be patient.
