Hey man great video! I really think this video would be a home run if you actually showcase the switching of the mount between the tripod gimbal and capture clip in real-time. I understand how this could work but showcasing it would make it a no brainer for people looking for this setup. Thank you for the video!

Thank you! For some reason it seems to be so hard to find the right info about what adapter to get if you use the Peak Design plate... I could only find videos of how THIS or THAT products didn't work with Peak Design, and I was about to buy something expensive... turns out it was the cheapest adapters the one that work...

This quick release plate is convenient! The camera is attached to the tripod quickly and is very good! I also have four because it is convenient. The video was very interesting! I will come to play again. With love from Japan :)

I basically followed the standard process - but that said there were some oddities about the process so it does deserve a video. Will see if I get one put together.

I don't like the fact that the arca swiss adapter is lacking a locking mechanism, has this never been a problem? 🤷‍♂

I wish Peak Design would just create a tripod mount, but they never will since they can sell you a $600 tripod. I kind of wish I never went with Peak Design even though the clip is great. I think my big question now is, have you found a mounting head that has some kind of additional safety? I really like having to press in a button just in case that screw comes loose.

I wish it had the locking pin they used to do one with it now you can't get it.

All of these adapters lack safety stop pins, meaning the plate can easily slide back and forth, if the tension is weak.

Correct - it is a bit unnerving! Always make sure they're tight.

As long as you can mount the base plate onto your tripods then yes, just a case of getting two of the adaptors so you can have the base part on both tripods
