For the pencil and highlighter, if you hold down on the colors, it opens a color wheel you can choose from :)

BEST. VIDEO. EVER. I am a first time digital planner and have spent COUNTLESS hours watching different videos on all the different apps/planners. All confusing and not well done. This video gave me EXACTLY what I needed in an efficient and concise manner. I have my tablet and so far, all I have is Kindle loaded. Right! If you want to use it for planning, you have to purchase a planner separately that fits your needs.

I have the samsung s7+.. I love the penly app, but does anyone else have a lag on the writing. I switch between penly & samsung notes and the difference is huge. Does anyone else have this?

The video title is quite misleading, especially for me. During this video you appear to not be sure what the app can or can't do. This is more of a 'first look' type of video rather than a tutorial. You seem to be experimenting rather than being familiar with it and explaining. There's nothing wrong with that, but just thought I'd let you know. Great video regardless.

Is there a way to get good notes files on penley? Like can you fix them so they'll import?

You can export the file from GoodNotes to PDF…and then import that PDF into Penly. However, what you added to the file in GoodNotes (I.e. plans, notes, stickers) will not be able to be edited in Penly.

I don't see why not. If you have a recent version of Android and sufficient storage space available, should be fine.
