When taking inspiration from anywhere, I take a few second to see if I like the individual items of clothing or if it's the silhouette/colour combination/texture I actually like. Usually it's not the individual piece, and I can fairly easily recreate that outfit from what I already have in my wardrobe, in fact I often improve on it and it's more original and more me!

Ooo such great tips here, thanks for sharing these great tips! Pinterest is definitely life-changing when it comes to giving me outfit inspo! I save outfit pins for Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons. Then I consciously shop for any missing items if there are any (but lately there haven't been too many of those since my closet is quite complete already)!

My use of Pinterest is a bit odd, but useful to me: i have a pin for outfits that i DON'T like. Occasionally, when i am scrolling, i instinctively think "oh no, i would NEVER wear that!" but i sometimes can't really see why. So i pin the item, and go back to it later. Calmly dissecting why i dislike the outfit makes me learn sooooo much on me and my style
