Um.. how do you get around the negative connotation of Isa.28:9-10? Precept upon Precept doesn’t appear anywhere else in the scriptures. It doesn’t give proper context which leads to understanding and doctrine. How does it fit with the “lost books” of the Bible, New Testament (which was written in Greek), and numerous books that weren’t seen as authoritative for hundreds of years? This why of studying is problematic in many regards.

So, you just used New Testament verses that refer back to the Tanak and for that I agree. Perfect way to study the Tanak. But, not so much the entire Bible.

@2568mark Great Question, read IsaYAH 28:13 all the way to the end, and see how it ends for people who go that way. Read things in context, keep in mind the subject matter, pray for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Follow a plain Thus saith the Creator YAH in the Law and Prophets WRITTEN word for word, don't add, don't subtract, and don't deviate, it is the only safe and 100% correct path to the Kingdom of the Creator YAH.

U can make the Bible say almost anything taking a little here and there a little, look at all the many different doctrines, teachings, understandings, etc. out there.
