This video will show you what quick parts are and how to use them, using Microsoft Word 2010.
Quick Parts is a great short cut that allows you to store and very quickly access content you use frequently like addresses, sign-offs, email responses and more.
Microsoft offers Quick Parts in both Word and Outlook across all recent versions including Word 2010, Word 2013 and Word 2016.

The problem I have with "Quick Parts" is that it saves them off..... where? "building blocks.dotx" or "Normal.dotm" (whatever THAT is). OK, where are those located? It may be squirreled away in some path that you're not aware of. Then you get a new PC, install Word, and the Quick Parts you set up are.....gone!
