I didn't even know the range mask existed until I saw this tutorial. I watched all the way though your video to get the overview, then I returned to the start and brought up one of my own images on a second screen and as I followed your actions the second time, I applied same to my image. Of course, I would have to pause your video while I made the adjustments. Faaannntastic! I also jotted your comments in my "Notes & Tips" manual as I paused. Can't wait to try these procedures on a new images that needs the change. Many thanks and great job.

This REALLY helped me with editing skin in pictures, on top of the other tips I've already learned from you . Thank you for all the work you do. You channel has been a gold mine without all the junk and fluff the other channels throw in. Thank you for being straight to the point and telling us everything.

Not ninety seconds in and I've already learned something useful that isn't even the point of the video: holding Shift to keep the graduated filter level. Thanks for all the little things you explain on the way.

Good evening Anthony. You’ve Made my day. I’ve been struggling in a photo I took today, trying with the range mask and I failed miserably. It’s been about a year since I used the mask in L/R. I will return to my photos tomorrow and try again with THE MORGANTI TALENTS. Thank you Anthony. Stay safe.

Thanks again, Anthony. I've been using range masks the hard way (sliders instead of eyedropper) and you just simplified it. Much appreciated.

I'm noticing I don't see Dislikes on videos at the moment... has YT started not showing them? Hard to believe there are no Dislikes, even on great input like this; always someone who wants to be a dork and Dislike a good video. Great info, Anthony, as usual. Thanks for sharing!

thanks so much Anthony - restricting the masking to color range is a great tip and I have just started to use it thanks to you. My phone doesn't support depth unfortunately. But that's good for the future!

Any chance you can do a new video on this feature with the 2022 changes made to masking in Lightroom? They've added additional functionality to the sliders and I'm unsure how to use them. Before the update I would use the Luminance and Color masking to dodge and burn my photos and do skin smoothing.

Hi again Anthony . Could you explain more about the ‘depth ‘ because I have tried and cannot get it to get off greyed out . I’m trying with images from iPhone 11 Pro . I have tried with the portrait mode and I’ve tried with HEIC mode . In both instance after taking the image I have put it on the hard disk on my Mac and imported from there . Note that even if phone is set to save HEIC in portrait mode it always saves as jpeg I have followed the video to the letter for the depth but never get it to move off greyed out . Really want to get this working because often is the time I have my phone not my Fuji . Thanks

I use these all the time, but really wish the Adobe would include a polygon or pen tool, for targeting windows in real estate photography, obviously windows are square in most case's and I know i can goto photoshop to access these tools but I hate having to wait for each photo to load up, especially if you have a few hundred to edit.
