I love it and I do stuff like this all of the time. What kills me is when you put one of these fabulous handmade creations you’ve spent hours on, saving all of the supplies with artistic vision, and you tie one to a gift with a perfect bow, only to watch the receiver rip off the wrapping, peek at the gift, then throw away all of the wrapping! I’ve even snuck into their garage to retrieve my artwork. I guess I’m hanging with the wrong crowd😂👍

A lot of LOVE went into this video. Fricking cute hearts. I love using thin corrugated cardboard and regular packaging too. I think I'll bring out my heart stencil today and some scraps. Thank you for sharing! This is such a great idea and they're very cute! I don't have a craft shop nearby and I'm always seeing the die cut pieces people are using in various projects and I don't find them anywhere here. I never really thought about making my own but this is very creative and a fantastic way to use up a lot of odds and ends from my stash to make my own embellishments. Thanks for the inspiration!

Very cute idea... I think that I would glue the decorations onto the printed side of the cardboard so the backs of the hearts were plain cardboard. If they were made that way, they could be used for something like a gift tag. I know it doesn't matter so much if they are going to then be glued right onto a card and so the back wouldn't be seen, but I just think they would look more finished and professional.

I love hearts and loved how you decorated them. Good job. My only issue about your tutorial was the speed. I would have rather watched for 20 minutes than the ultra speeded up version. It would have been SO helpful to me, a newbie, to see how you did some of your work and what the finished products looked like, as in most tutorials. I hope you take this in the manner it was intended, which was just to be helpful, not negative.

Mitchalisia Hi. Just finished watching your leaf inchies & saw this video & had to check it out ! Love Love Love ! These are so flippin cute, don't know why I never thought of that ! But 2 yrs back I did make glitter heart tiara's for my nieces, & me & a friend & we were them & had a munchies & movie night for Valentine's Day. First I took wide red glitter ribbon ( I got for a quarter after Xmas ) and glued it around wide plastic headbands, then hotglued three red glitter hearts at top center of the headband, then smaller silver glitter hearts in each red one. We we're all Queen for a day ! I will definitely make these for cards & gift tags, and if I could find a small chalkboard like 8 X 10, they'd be cute glued around the frame for a note board ! Tfs Ilene ! 💕💕💕💕😊
