Js frm what DRIGO said mate,.you use cruise control normally when you dnt want a truck to go over or exceed specific speed you want to drive by,..eg 70 km/hr Matic brakes involves electrical braking system this engages more services programmed in the Truck that I can't breakdown,.but it helps to hold the truck for the driver instead of him/her to brake more often to avoid brake ware or brake overheating,as he said you wil see smoke in your tyres.. So I don't know if it advised to engage brake matic while driving on a flat road though but why wil u choose that while you have a cruise control so they work more efficiently together as he said by still they doesn't stop the Truck,.you use retarder and lastly brakes..

It depends what kind of downhill and what kind of up hill... Serious down hill etc gear 5,6&7 you can also go up with same gear 🚛🇿🇦🙏🏽♥️

Lets say you're carrying heavy load and going downhill,you want to go down by 60km/hr then you cruise at 60,cruise control gonna hold your truck at 65km myb at 70 but you need to go 60km/h,mistakenly with lack of knowledge you gonna use foot brakes and that when your truck gonna burn because of overheating brakes thanks to brake matic,exhaust brake and retarder so these guys will help you to keep your truck steady nice and slow without any damage,..Anyway please review more coz I also don't know how use any of these i js wrote😂😂😂😂

If you driving 80kmph and you tap your brake is not gonna pass and if you cruise it 80 is gonna stop it self on 84/85 that's the difference
