You can make a mark on blade either with a permanent marker or a small dot with nail paint ,also you can put them separately like the fabric one in your sewing kit and the paper blade in your stationary along with other paper cutting tools.

You can use it without mat but it may damage the surface. It works better on mat.

I use simple paper cutter for thin MDF and plywood but not a perfect cut for MDF board you need other wood cutting tools this rotary cutter won't work on MDF board . Thanks for being here😊 kindly watch my other videos I hope you like them💕
