Works well once you figure it out. There are a few seconds delay between pressing the button and the effect showing up. One needs to tick the effect boxes to activate the effects you want, otherwise it won't work. I'm using it with my MX Anywhere 3.

Yes, indeed it works. However it is truly not intuitive to hold the button down AND YOU HAVE TO DRAG THE MOUSE AT THE SAME TIME to work. I would expect that I just click on something and the magnifier or highlighter immediately starts working.

One more thing. This is not stable. You close the Logitech Options+ application and after a short while the magnifier/highlighter does not work. You open a new Firefox or PowerPoint window and it just does not work. Not sure why, could not find an exact pattern. I have a Logitech 650L.

@@balazssrancsik1691 Yep, when I close the Options+ app the effects don't work until I reopen it. Not that useful in its current build.

Fantastic, it works great and is very simple to program with specific apps, from Firefox to Brave or Canva. The presentations and tutorials I give with OBS become even more professional. I use the vertical ergonomic lift mouse

It is not a really finalized feature in term of use. Furthermore, it does not work with Power Point which is an apllication dedicated to presentation! So it is promising but needs more refinement

It should work with PowerPoint. Do you have an app-specific profile for powerpoint? If you do, you’ll need to add spotlight there.

Nope! Edit: It does work but not intuitive at all. For one it does not seem to be a setting that can be APP dedicated but rather a general setting. Second the feature works but only as long as you have the Logi Options software open and displayed. You cannot minimise it. Third it requires one to press the top button down and hold it down whilst dragging the mouse. There is software such as Powertools which provide similar features in a far easier way. Nice idea Logi but it needs work.

I second that, completely agree and have the same symptoms. Some of what you mentioned I experienced as well, but could not troubleshoot to this depth. @Logitech: It needs a lot of refinement.

You have the option to set it as a Global setting or on an app specific profile. It should absolutely work with the app minimized and even with the app fully closed and just running in the background. This would be a bug. I just tested it and can't recreate the issue. I think your comment about having to hold it down is great feedback. There should be an ability to lock it with a press and then press again to turn it off. Thanks for calling that out.

@@coachdeitarocchiale I don't understand the procedure for double clicking - I mean can you please walk me through explicit method? Should I double click WHILE holding down the mouse button for spotlight or I can release it and double click. And also, where on screen I can double click? It is not clear tbh.

@@mohammadabdolrazzaghi Yes, it's a little unintuitive. So if you want to switch the pointer effects with double click. First you need to have all 3 effects checked in the app. Then to toggle between them you double click, but hold on the second click to activate the feature. Double clicking and then doing a separate hold click will just do the last one. I think we need to refine this.

YES.... nice.... pity that IT DOESN'T WORK! I have three logitech mice and I can't set them up, because this software sucks. And there are MANY of us for whom it doesn't work!
