Oh I'm sooo bummed I missed this!!! A really cool thing to do might be to use Parameters to switch databases/stored procedures/tables etc. (Can you pass values via PowerBI parameters to stored procedure calls? I would think you could basically frankenstein a string together and pass that back to SQL Server.)

It all depends on the condition of your data inside Access db. Power Pivot won't let you go through the ETL process that Power Query will. For me getting data into Excel is always via Power Query. This is in my opinion the most elegant and the fastest way to get the results. For this specific use case you would have to construct 4 mentioned models and compare them. The thing is that Power Query allows for additional operations before load, which could in some cases narrow down what we load to the data model/worksheet.

We do not have to launch Power Query editor to change the parameter value. There is an option to od so from within the Power BI GUI itself. We have to go to 'Tranform data' -> 'Change parameters'. We will be presented with a list of updatable paramters.

Hi Have a T-SQL Query to check space of the database or Databases in a MS SQL Instance. I need to create a report, Initially The report will be empty. I will use one Drop down for SQL Instance Name .. Once it is selected, in next drop down it will list all the databases .will pick one Database in it. after select both will Click on a button or any other link( Not Sure what to use and how it works ) The button/Link should fire my query and display the result in the same page below. The queries you carried out in mysql did it affect the tables... like for example if you query GEO table will the result of the query affect the GEO table....Im not sure I'm asking the question correctly cause I'm quite confused....what does the queries do? Like what are they affecting, are they producing a new table ? I'm confused

You know the best but are u recording on 720p?. Now-a-days people have full HD screens so 720p does not give very clear video quality. During livestreaming or recording we don't understand the quality but while viewing it does make a difference. You can double check by just playing this video on normal laptop screen, in video quality gear, maximum resolution given is 720p. It should have been 1080p atleast. and Thank you for everything....i would gift u a wine if our road crosses someday....
