How to use Stampin' Seal Adhesive

Best explanation of how to dispense this adhesive. I have ruined one roll and just about used up this second one practicing this technique. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for this tutorial. I finally invested in Stampin’ Seal and used it incorrectly and it stopped working. I put it away and vowed to go back to using my Tombow snail but decided to search KZbin in the hopes of finding a solution. I just knew I couldn’t have been the only one with this problem. After watching your channel, I was able to adjust my Stampin’ Seal and it works perfectly now. Again, thanks for this tutorial.

Wow, wow, wow! You saved my tape! Your tip to lift up the big cog allowed me to rewind about 18 inches of tape that had struggled with for 3 days trying to fix. The tape is great now. Back to working properly. THANK YOU!

As someone who has arthritis in my wrists, I still prefer the liquid most of the time. It also gives me that “wiggle room” so I can line things up evenly before making the final glue down. Good advice though for those times when I do use tape adhesive. Thanks for the tips.

Thank you - you are the ONLY video I've seen that addresses these very frustrating issues with this new adhesive. I'm still not happy that it isn't as low-maintenance as the SNAIL, but at least I won't lose anymore refills (lost 2 already) to improper technique.

Thank you for the tips - I was having trouble with the loose plastic appearing under the roller and not letting the adhesive attach to the paper and couldn’t get it to wind on. yes! I literally destroyed my first stampin seal cartridge trying to figure out what I'd done wrong. And not every cartridge gives me fits. Of course the cartridge I'm using now is trying the Jesus in me...:o(

Thanks for sharing as I've been having a lot of problems with the seal. Especially on small things, but I think I know why now. I've been leaving the caps off because I broke the little wheel under the cap the first time I tried to open it. The cap was so tight it snapped off the leader roller. Of course SU replaced it but now I thought I'd better leave off those caps. I've saved your video to send to customers if they have problems.

What happens if the tape snaps from getting caught in the roller? Fixable?

I've never had it happen to me but I don't see how you would fix it once the tape snapped. I don't see any way to rejoin it.

My seal pulls apart the cardstock before I even get it to the breaking point I have a line of card stock in my adhesive case.

I haven’t had that happen but I have seen a video where they just pushed/rolled back the other way so the cardstock cane back out and they started again.
