I bought a multipack of striping tape last year and I haven’t used it yet because I couldn’t even manage decent results with French mani tape guides. For the stained glass effect, do you clean the brush between colors or use multiple brushes?

For anti-smudging, try water based top coat first and normal above it. I read it somewhere and this advice worked for me (european drugstore polishes)

Love your 101 videos, would love a stamping video I am struggling with doing a background stamp eg snowflakes ❄️ in background with something stamped on stop. Mine all seam to disappear or over shadow the main image if that makes sense. Not sure if its because I only do short nails, and it's not big enough area for both if that makes any sense. Also can you recommend your best gold stamping polish?

Yes! Just apply after curing your base layer and remove the tape before you cure the layer of gel you apply over it!

What can be used for french tips if your nails are round? I've tried french tip guides but they're always too sticky

When I do nail art, I use the smudge free topcoat from Maniology (idk how to spell that), and then a regular one. You still need to give your nails a solid 5-10 minutes to dry before you use it, but with regular topcoat, I’ve ruined really cute manis even letting them dry for 30+ minutes.

Ooh yeah I've used that one! I also love the fast dry drops from Zoya before top coat to dry everything out and prevent smudges!

What if the colour you want to use with the striping tape needs a couple of coats? Do you need to take the striping tape off and reapply between coats?

Honestly I'd probably avoid using less opaque polishes unless you apply with a detail brush - if you do use a small brush you can apply a thicker layer so it'll be more opaque!
