It took me about an hour to get through your 10 minute video and that is only because I was applying what I was learning as I was learning it. It all makes so much sense and it is so easy, and the way you explain it is easier than tailwind explaining it itself. thanks again!

Great information, thank you! Question: Why would an apparel brand want to pin someone else's pins?
@CathrinManning5 жыл бұрын
So you would need to be very strategic about what pins you are sharing from other people. Obviously you wouldn’t want to directly recommend a competitor to your audience but sharing other high quality content that isn’t your own helps to build you authority and reach on Pinterest. This is something that I consider too when I’m sharing pins. Obviously I don’t want to recommend someone else’s blogging course when I have my own! So I’m cautious with what I share.

With different picture and description, but also i have red that i can t use the same link too many times… i m a little confused 😅 thanks for sharing your knowledge about it

I'm just starting my blog. Do I need to have a lot of pins & boards on Pinterest first before using Tailwind scheduler?
@zoegirlmeetsfirecookingcha83683 жыл бұрын
I do not think so. I started blogging about a year ago and I did not have a lot of posts. I did do this that I learned somewhere else. I made my personal boards secrets, like the ones that have nothing to do with the niche. I write about food, so the boards that had to do with food and cooking I sectioned into different categories, thus creating more boards and more pins. Then I created boards specific to my blog within my blog's categories. So, I would pin my post into a main blog post category board, and then to any other category board that it could relate to. This way I was able to re-pin a pin without re-pinning it to the same board over and over again.

@@SandraDi Do you have any experience with Buffer? It's suppose to be similar to Tailwind. (Looking into both) We've got a pretty good handle on our store, email marketing and facebook adds finally, but our social media game is week! Trying to figure out where to find content to put onto Pinterest, IG/Facebook but we don't have a lot of time for this. Trying to decide if we want to outsource that part of our business or do it our selves, If that would cost us money or make us money.. Thank you for your response!
@SandraDi3 жыл бұрын
@@ParaVids_andVinyls That's awesome I will definitely take a look! I have never heard of Buffer. I have just had great experience with Tailwind :). In terms of finding so many pins to pin per day, first keep in mind that not all pins are yours and not all pins have to be "fresh" (i.e. new images). For example, I pin roughly 5 "fresh" images per day and 5 "re-pins" of my own products, and the rest will be from other people. A great way to create a bunch of pins at a time is using Canva. Also you can get many free stock photos from www.pexels.com. What I would do sometimes is I'll take a look on Pinterest for inspiration on pins that I like so it gives me an idea of how I want to create my pins. So sometimes I'll open up 10 new artboards on Canva at the same time, drop my free stock images and start playing with the free fonts on Canva. All these pins can link back to the same or different blog posts, products, etc. Sorry that was a long explanation but I hope it makes sense!
@ParaVids_andVinyls3 жыл бұрын
@@SandraDi That was super helpful! Thank you. I'll check out Canva. It's hard on pintrest because my customers are more men and the pintrest audience is more women it seems like so I'm debating on if its worth putting my efforts into. I know we have pretty good results with instagram.
@SandraDi3 жыл бұрын
@@ParaVids_andVinyls yes in that case it all depends on where your target audience is hanging out as well! In terms of getting more reach, have you considered creating "searchable content"? So like youtube videos and/or blogs with strong SEO?
