To be honest, it can’t do heavy projects like lace or denim. I’d advice to get a manual machine and a motor so you’ll be able to convert it to electric when there’s light. This one is built for beginners who do mostly light sewing.

Stitch length 4. My machine doesn't have the option of "tension number" . Also, what you need is the tiniest zigzag stitch for buttonhole.

Yes I do. Every Saturday. Nothing major really. I just pour oil in the holes on the needle plate, the bobbin compartment and the dog feeds.

There's foot for zip, foot for elastic and then button and button hole foot. All these comes with the machine.
