I will probably sound stupid here but an answer would be appreciated as I’m pulling my hair out trying to get my head around FL Studio. I’ve spent 18 years using Synapse Orion so I’m not a noob, but FL seems so counter intuitive to me with the way it’s channel rack works. I understand that that’s only because I’m not used to it yet. At the beggining you programmed the 1st clap pattern which I understood easily enough. You then selected to add a new pattern called Clap 2....which is simple enough. But then you switched back to clap 1 pattern amd added a new channel in the channel rack with the kick drum...but I noticed that it still said Clap 1 in the channel track window at the top of the screen. Does this mean that whenever you use the clap1 pattern in the song arranger, the kick drum will also play?

FL studios is infuriatingly difficult to get the hang of. I've been using it for a year and still run into problems which take me hours to trouble-shoot. These videos help but shame on FL studios for making such a disgustingly hideous layout
