I really can't believe we're almost to 2022 and Discord hasn't made an official app for Consoles yet, especially with its increased popularity as of late. I mean Xbone has Quarrel which is a third party app that mostly works, even letting you be in a voice call in the background while you play, but it's buggy and unstable. Meaning an official app would likely be able to do the same thing but better.

@@DarthChris27 If you're on PC playing Xbox games through Steam, then multiplayer is already free like the Halo Infinite, MCC, and Forza, so they really wouldn't care about you using Discord or other non Microsoft/Xbox Live apps especially since how Quarrel is available on the Microsoft Store.

The Quarrel app is a good alternative, though it is 3rd party so alot of ppl recommend having an account you use only for your quarrel app.

I did towards the end but forgot to mention that you can sort of still play games. If you open another tab you can use browser games or a game streaming service (maybe even xcloud) to play actual games while being on call. You can even stream a Desktop PC and control it from your Xbox! (video coming soon).

It's a sleeping tabs problem. To fix it, go to Settings (press the icon with the 3 dots to the far right of the searchbar, then press settings), go to Performance (or search sleeping tabs), then add the url in the search bar in Settings,, then your tabs should stay. Hope this helps!
