People who are spending extra money $$ for park hoppers basically get screwed 😂 It’s honestly really dumb of Disney to do it this way. & then we have to wait till we’re in the park for the next queue which is at 1pm & early for a park hopper. I’m trying to split up my day evenly & also need to allow time to travel from one park to the next. So dumb!

I'm planning on getting a park hopper ticket. My biggest concern is I want to ride the Tron but how do I know what time i get to ride, what happens if I'm at the other park? I want to do Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for Galaxys Edge. What would you recommend?

You don't know what time you get to ride. They will randomly send you a notification to your app telling you what your time is & you have an hour to get there & ride it. If you're at a different park first....& you get a super early time, you won't make it. We chose Magic Kingdom as our first park, but they gave us an 8am time when the park opened. I was traveling with 15 people so a bunch of my party was not up that early & there was no way we were going to make it. So just know if you do the virtual queue at 7am, you may get the first queue time & only have an hour to ride it. @@YatlardaSinan​

You get one more chance to get in the virtual queue at 1pm but you have to be in Magic Kingdom park to join that queue. We ended up just purchasing the ride b/c we didn't want to run the risk of not being able to ride it. You can purchase which will guarantee you ride it (that is if they're not sold out. They only allot a certain amount of people to purchase, so you should purchase early the morning - you get to choose what time you want to ride it. So can schedule your day accordingly). Then you can also do virtual queue, & if you get in, you get to ride it twice. Hope that helps!@@YatlardaSinan

this video had good info but thinking you could have added some basic information to help. have screen prints and circle the exact pieces you are referencing. when you discuss validating linking or your party tell us and show us where that is. stuff like that as a recommendation. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app. Select the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen. Scroll down and select “My Profile” Select the Friends & Family list tab. Scroll down and “Add a Guest”

Since park reservations are no longer required could I get the park hopper option and go to another park first and then Epcot to ride Guardians or do I have to go to Epcot first and then the second park? My ideal plan is get park hopper and visit Hollywood Studios and reserve a Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance and visit Epcot for Guardians since I haven't done those two yet. What would be the best way to do that?

Yes you can still get a virtual queue it would just have to be for after 2pm

From the moment your boarding group is called, you have 1 hour to return to the ride before your spot in the virtual queue expires

No, you can only buy an individual Lightning Lane for each ride once per day. However, you can ride TRON Lightcycle twice in one day by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane and joining the Virtual Queue.

Virtual queue is a scam and ruined my day. We went to Disney world today with park hoppers and only learned about needing to use virtual queue after we got to Tron. Long story short, we waited for 7 hours to get on guardians of the galaxy and got scammed out of our time and basically our money. Our tickets costed $240 per person for 1 day park hoppers and we didn't even get to go to Hollywood studios because of all the crap that happened. Part of me never wants to go back to Disney ngl
