Nice to see a video on this product that brings some safety information to start with, safety should be a common sense issue but it's often ignored 👍🏻

Hi. Can this plunge fit on non dremel die grinder?.
@McBicbic3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for showing what this tool can do. During your demonstration of cutting the groove you went from edge to edge like you might do with a fixed base router. Is it possible to start at any part of the surface of the wood and "plunge" into the wood to make a groove with a start and stop point without starting from the edge of the wood?

Hi Nathan, thanks for watching. I haven't used it that way so can't comment on it unfortunately. Sorry can't be of more help, let me know if you find anything out and thanks again for watching!

Sure it's possible. Fix the depth, then lift up the dremel. Keep the base firmly on the spot then go down. Better to put stops on the piece so your cut can't go beyond the marks.

That is exactly what it is designed for. That's what the "plunge" in plunge router is there for.

I've looked around, but one piece of info that's surprisingly hard to find is the minimum radius for circle cutting. I saw 3-3.5" at a review site, but that was not very helpful since for my project 3.5" is just a bit too big. Anyone know more exactly?

Your videos are great and have taught me so much! Thank you. I do want to add that your hands are really red when you wear the gloves. I’m not sure what they are made of but if it’s latex, you could have a slight allergic sensitivity. I’m not a doctor tho. Just an fyi.

You forgot one very important safety instruction: Do NOT wear any gloves, if you're working with any kind of rotary tool. The tool can grab your glove and pinch off your fingers in the worst case scenario.

Hi Sir Kay, thanks for watching! This is the best router attachment Dremel makes in my opinion.

It looks really flimsy and has a lot of slack or movement in it? How rigid is it?

Thanks for watching, in my opinion it seems well built for what it is and how much it cost. Good luck if you decide to get it.

I don't doubt that there is some good info here and I could probably watch this video if every instance of: ".. go ahead and..." was edited out. You're not alone in this Todd but please? I managed 5 minutes.
