In this video, I demonstrated how to use the Emerson AMS Trex Device Communicator to power (loop the power) on a Yokogawa Transmitter. I also showed how to set the polling unit on the Emerson device
The AMS Trex is an intrinsically safe HART and Foundation fieldbus device communicator. It allows technicians to configure, isolate, diagnose, and repair problems while devices continue to run using the Loop power function and on board ammeter.

Pro Tip: No need to loosen screws on the transmitter. HART devices are equipped with metal loops at each screw to attach your test probes.
