Hiya Temi, thank you for producing this useful video for ShinePhone App users, most helpful. Quick questions; 1. The Dashboard page shows Daily/Monthly/Total Revenues - I know these may be changed on the Web/Server site, but the numbers don’t seem to correlate with actual, as far as I can tell? 2. On the Plant page, at the very bottom, there are numbers for CO2/Coal/Deforestation - how and from what are these numbers calculated and are they changeable please? For the money you pay its an absolute dog crap app. It updates every 5 mins... absolute rubbish. It has problems connecting.. absolute rubbish... its just crap all round. When it's installed ask for help with a better app. Scores .5 out of 10.

I have growatt SPH 10KTL3 Hybrid inverter. No matter what I do i cannot change the settings of the inverter thru Shinephone App. Everything thing else runs normal. The grid voltage at times gets high and I am unable to adjust the voltage thru shine phone app. Also cannot find any option on the inverter to change the grid voltage limits. I am planning to change the inverter.

Can’t you see how individual solar panels are performing? For example, if one panel is defective, can you see this in the app?

Hello, can you tell me how the app would show how many batteries I have installed. I had 2x5kw batteries and then had another 5kw battery added. Where is that capacity shown in the app? Thanks Phil

Hi Temi, I have the ShinePhone app but only storage allowed for me to drill in for more details. Inverter is greyed out. I’m thinking of getting a second inverter to increase my capacity but wonder how the app will help me monitor this

Great video thanks. How can you set electricity pricing (for both imported electricity) and also exported? The web based server has some options under Plant Management, but the electricity price does not seem to calculate £ generated correctly and the selling price does not seem to allow you to enter a price in pence? The interface looks quite poor and there isn't an option I can find in the app either? Thanks.

Do I need the Smart Meter (and/or) CT to export PV output to grid?

Do you know how to set the battery to NOT discharge say overnight during off-peak rate so an EV will charge without stressing the battery and excessive battery cycling. I tried the prohibition setting but when set for 00:30 to 05:30 it said error?

Did you get a reply to this question? I have the same issue. I want to use the battery during the day when juice is 32p/kwh, not when it is 7.5p/kwh at night.

Hey Deege. When I open the App I can not see my load consumption. I'm using a MIN 3600TL-XH with the Growatt ShineWiFI-X. I'm not using any battery. Can you give me some advice on how to fix that? Thanks in advance!

I downloaded the app on the phone and on my tablet. On the phone it the screen looks alright, however when I try to use it on my samsung tablet the screen looks too big and there is part of the information and options that I am not able to visualize because of the resolution the information is being showed. Is there a way to fix this? I even tried rotating the screen but this app does not rotate the screen so basically I cannot use it on the Tablet

Hello and thank you for this video! In my opinion the app is rather disappointing due to the fact that the data lag is so big and that the numbers are never current without a refresh of the page! Is there a way to get more accurate (current) data from the app? Even after minutes, the app still shows the same old data. Thanks

@@shereenruiz7176 I modified the wifi adapter to refresh at a interval of 1 min, but didn't changed much, it's still a very bad app, i won't choose Growatt in the future anymore.

Hello, I have purchased a device that is called Raspberry Pi and there is a software solution that goes along with it called solar assistant. This is supposed to give you real time data but I have to admit that I have not installed it yet! So according to the various KZbin videos on solar assistant, it works but I cannot confirm it yet.
