I’ve had my washer for a week and I still can’t get the load and go to dispense detergent. It keeps telling me that load and go is disabled. How to I enable it? I’ve tried calling Whirlpool and and sat on hold for and hour…I tried calling the place I bought the washer from and they didn’t know either. The manual and documentation wasn’t helpful. How do I enable load and go??

Not sure if this helps but, mine was saying the same thing and that the detergent was low. You need to pull that whole tray out and fill it all the way up with detergent to the top you can check by filling putting it back in and it will tell you if the detergent is low, 50%, 75% or full. Should work then. Cuz the part that dispenses detergent is in the top left corner of the tray. Dumb location but hope this helps.

I was finally able to get in touch with whirlpool. The option to change to ”enable” is in the app on,y. I was having trouble getting the app downloaded. That side of whirlpool support answered right away. He is the one that walked me through resetting load and go. Hope this helps.

I use three different detergents, Tide, Woolite and Cheer for dark clothes so I don't want to fill the tray for 20 loads. I tried adding what one load would be and after an hour and a half of washing, it's still in the tray. An hour and a half of washing in water only? If I had known they had this ridiculous item, I wouldn't have bought it. Plus, adding 30 minutes to every wash cycle isn't saving electricity. I can't wait to get my electric bill. Not happy with Whirlpool right now and I've always recommended them. I've been buying from them for 55 years.

@lyssmarquez I don't use it. I pour the detergent in on top of the clothes like we did before machines had dispensers. What a waste of space and stupidity on Whirlpool's part. I guess if you wash your delicates like silk and wool and use Tide or Kirkland Brand it doesn't matter. But if you have to carry your cell phone around to do laundry, that's even worse.

How do you enable the Load and Go feature. The load and go button is saying that it is disabled. It has been working fine. I changed the amount of detergent dispensed and now it is disabled.

The fact that there is no single load dispenser for normal liquid detergent that isn't HE / High Efficiency is ridiculous. I've been trying to figure this stupid thing out all day and the documentation is not helpful in explaining this shortcoming. Not impressed. I already have buyers remorse and thinking of sending the units back and getting a different set. Not to mention it doesn't look like they clean well, there appears to be hardly any agitation going on in there the clothes barely move!

That's what I wanted to know ! I read you can just pour a different detergent into the bottom of the washer drum and then put your laundry in. Never pour it directly on top.

So yes I've been disabling it for one load and adding the other detergent to the bottom washer drum. Unfortunately, I have washed clothing and sometimes it performs a full cycle without using any detergent because I accidentally disabled the load and go! So infuriating!

@@starrebornalpha I have a bad memory sometimes so I'm surprised I haven't done that yet. It is frustrating! We don't use liquid fabric softener or bleach really much if at all actually so that's fun 😂 can't use those. If that wasn't enough you have to remember not to pour the detergent directly on the clothes. One time I put in the sheets I was going to wash. Forgetting to pour the detergent in 😂😭 They've really got to start thinking about this in the future more.

I've been trying to figure this out all day and it's truly been making me crazy (and angry)! I don't like the loadandgo because you have no idea how much detergent you are using. This is a horrible feature. The fact that there isn't a single dispenser for normal detergent is absurd and frankly if I had known this I would not have bought this unit. I watched a full cycle getting it started and frankly the agitator and overall function makes me question whether this unit really cleans properly. I just got it today and I'm already having buyers remorse. I think I should have went with the GE Front load model that was on sale instead.

I hate this washing machine with a passion. Black clothing always come out with white residue no mattet what type of detergent used. Ive tried liquid, pods, and desolving sheets. I really hate that the cloths have to be loaded first. I liked when you could run the water first to melt the detergent then add clothing. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? I havent figured out how since the lid locks. The whole system cancels out if you tell it you want to unlock the lid. I also HATE the pre-soak option. Soaks for way too long. I thought i figured out a way around the pre-load before water part with the pre-rine button but it automatically chooses to pre soak. I also do not believe that the load and go dispenses soap efficiently.

The lower the number, the more detergent it will dispense. You need to set it to a higher concentration level if you want it to dispense less detergent.

I use a detergent for dark colors and a different detergent for whites. This Load and go is the worst setting. If I put soap for just one cycle it keeps telling me detergent is low. It’s bad and stressed me out. I don’t need more stress in my life.
