How to Use the Roland MDX 40A

Hi l have the vpanel working and can do everything you can with the calibration but the SRP program won't detect the rotary axis jig when i unplug it the vpanel knows its missing do you know what might be wrong?

The rotary axis is called the ZCL40. There are two types. The Short table and the long table. If you have a MDX40 you need to perform a firmware upgrade to used the ZCL40 long table.

I enjoyed the video. I want to make the detection bar because I lost it. I'd like to know the diameter. Can you tell me?

i think it depends on if you have the MDX-40 or the MDX-40A. the optional 4th axis rotary unit for the MDX-40 (which i have) actually came with 2 detection bars - a small bar and a large bar. but i think (not sure) the MDX-40A came with only one detection bar. if you reply give my comment a thumbs up so i am notified.

@@dumbcat hi, i have the MDX-40A. i've used relatively effectively without the detection bar but if i can get the dimensions of the bar i'll get one made. thanks for replying to me
