I saw my fellow Quebecois streaming this game, when I saw you could operate a sugar shack, it was an instant buy for me. I didn't care about the cars at all, but learned to enjoy them. It is the season right now, the trees flow in the spring. Sugar maple only grows in the south quebec/north vermont area. To me this game was very traditional, not exotic at all, I was very excited to virtually do something I've seen a lot of people do throughout my life. I won't be putting the electric gizmos inside the shack because I enjoy the traditional side. It makes me happy to know that people from different parts of the world learn about this part of my culture. Be careful, the swearing (y key) is real french canadian swearing, they won't understand at all in France, but it will be considered more or less shocking in Canada. I don't know anyone who drinks maple syrup alone, you would die of diabetes, it's better on breakfast type foods(ham, pancakes, bacon, porridge, etc) or in drinks. I wish the whole wide world could taste real maple syrup one time, it's very pleasant and lightly smoky. There is a fake version of maple syrup that is high fructose corn syrup + flavors, it doesn't taste like the real thing at all and it contains the worst form of sugar for your health. We call the fake version "sirop de poteau", syrup from a pole(a pole instead of a tree to allude to the fakeness). It's fun seeing you play, I hope for the both of us these updates will be coming.✌️

i will be ordering some real maple syrup at some point. but for uk people aside from having a mcdonalds breakfast we dont normal have things like pancakes for breakfast. In my life at least i have cerial or nothing pancakes ham bacon that sort of thing is a lunch or dinner for me.. i dont speak for everyone else.

A blessing from the heavens now I never have to buy maple syrup again but I will soon never have to buy poutine again in 3 in game days or less I don’t know how much you can get your relationship??? With your mother up 3 or 4 times in a day because if so I can do it in 2 days

Oof 😅 thank you. This maple syrup op has been stressful to say the least. But I was watching and listening also while experimenting myself. So I know now. Save for power. Then save for the electric generator, osmosis machine, and lastly the crimping machine. And buy syrup from the store until I get the can crimper.

I found out the cap of the maple syrup production (around 200). I have 240 trees in 2 grid cuz OCD .. (yikes) connected to 2 tanks and electric heater, and the tank is overfilled even when running (maple syrup production > usage). Last week I'm still chopping wood for fuel and only earning a few grands per week. Now after 1 week of nonstop grinding, I'm earning 25k+ (still increasing) every Sunday but is getting very annoying to carry the barrels 🥲especially during weekend (14+ barrels stock pile till monday). Super grindy at the start and mid but very fun game.

I basically fill 6 barrels a day take them to federation then get the other 6 barrels ready for tuesday and teh nrotate till empty

Hey the big tank for the trunk holds 10 barrels, you can fill it up outside I think. Not sure I don't have it yet but you can sell 12 barrels a day max

It takes ages of time to re-plant the trees to get a well-planned tree-system but how many or how often can you get cuttings from the trees?

u can get a new cutting from them when the tree is fully grown i think its every 10 to 14 days but i cant recall now

The burner won’t work I put the four wood in and the news paper and lit it but it just will go to seven and won’t move from that and won’t make the gas thing on top

ok so when u are making maple syrup if your resovoiur is full then it wont make anymore until u have emptied it.

@@Hybridsteel that ended up being the issue, it said i owed $0 so i pressed 1 to pay it, and the following day it said $50 so i paid that then slept instead of skipping and it fixed it

u need electric power for the heater but for the reverse osmosis machine u can run that off your home generator.

How do you get the barrels with it in?

u have to buy a barrel from the syrup federation, then u fill it up with syrup from the tap, then u sell the barrel of syrup to the federation and u get the barrel back after its emptied.. then u repeat..

the pump on the back of the sugar shack it runs when the day is warmer and u need it attached to the pipes that get stuck to the trees.

Will the 4 birch logs keep the shack running for the full 9 to 4 while it's not too cold outside??? Or do I have to stick around/come back to keep it burning?

as long as the fire is burning u can produce whatever in ur shack but outside the generator wont work as its too cold

@@Hybridsteel I get that, I'm just wondering, if I start the fire with 4 logs in it, and get the operation running at 9 AM, if the fire would keep it running until 4 PM, or if I'll need to come back to check on it/babysit it.

@Hybridsteel I figured it out. I'm just an idiot. Lol. I was lighting the fire while there was nothing in the tank. So it was just starting for a few seconds then stopping as some maple syrup hit the tank and then immediately was sent to the evaporator. I got it dialed in now.

do you mean the water barrel at your house or the tank on the back of ur shack. the water at ur house shouldnt run out unless thats been changed. the tank on the back of the shack fills up when u have maple syrup coming from the trees and the pump brings in more over time.

grab a spool of pipe and then disconnect the pipe
