You should measure and find the smallest tooth and set up to that. This way you are ensuring the teeth are all the same size and helps prevent you cutting in angles on larger logs.

Could u tell me how many chains will one sharpnes bit last? I ask because they are costly $28+ with shipping for me and regular sharpner which u do with hand cost $2.5 So I hope they last few chains :)

Depends on how they are treated, i don't use the device so often, but I have one that I use the most and it last already 3 chains. I clean it every use with compressed air and I put it back in the original containers. But they aren't cheap.
