Hi! I made a shirt with UV maps, but when I try to texture it the same design also shows on the inside of the fabric, is there a way to include the reverse side of the fabric on the same UV layout so I can have a white inside, but a texture/print on the outside?

Select the Fabric in the Object Browser. Under Materials, click the Back Tab & Uncheck Use Same Material as front and customize as desired.

Hi, nice tutorial, thanks for making it! Is there a way to export garments for with uv to another 3d application in order to only change the layout of uv and then bring them back into CLO for baking?

May I ask what the main objective is here? Are you just trying to adjust the layout of the UV in each pattern piece?

@@CLO3D yeah, kinda. My reasoning is that there are many ways of doing it more efficiently and conveniently in traditional 3d applications with or without help of addons, but I would still like to bake in marvelous/clo, and thus way in the highest quality possible

Is there a way to transfer the 2D pattern layout arrangement of my cloth pieces into a UV layout, I spend a lot of time laying out the garment in 2D to save the hassle of rejigging pieces in order to create a unified UV map?
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
In UV Editor Mode, Right Click on the grid and choose Reset UV to 2D Arrangement.

The button to change from flat mapping to unified is missing? (next to fabric only have add print and delete option)
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
This option is now in the Property Editor right above "Type"

In version 6.0 the puckering normals won't blend with the fabric texture normal. Is there any workaround?

Can you further explain what the issue is? By white marks do you mean all the way around the pattern pieces?
