As an update, I got one of these for my wife for her birthday and it was a hit. Easy to use, travel with and clean. You can even preboil water, put it in a thermos and make coffee in a parking lot (or get hot water intended for tea from a gas station). Nespresso has been her coffee of choice for, idk how many years, but for longer than we have been married (12 years) but it is not common to get hotel rooms etc with a nespresso machine here in the US like it was in the EU. Nor are they common in the workplace. Now she can have her coffee wherever she wants. After this experience I think I might pick up a picopresso for myself.

I got it today. I m italian and I m very selective about coffee quality. I tryed L'OR and Lavazza capsules and they work perfect. Only remark, the temperature is not so hot. Maybe better to heat cup before and make one cycle just with hot water just to heat the device. I am little worried about comments about water leaks and capsules piercing.

Might be worth while to get one of the trays that sit on top of water heaters and invert this on it. so it gets the radiant heat while the water boils.

Pretty cool little espresso maker, but I want to know, does the espresso taste good? I would go with the non pod system myself.

It's nespresso (say no more). If you enjoy Nespresso , it's great. I'm not a hater, I just dont drink them. However for this video I did, and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't horrible 😂 And in fact, for such a small amount of coffee that's in the pod, it packs a caffeine punch I can tell you!

hey, did you know what is the secret about open the capsule compartment after making the first espresso? cannot open. wait some minutes then it opens. normal or wrong using?

Sounds normal is pressure is high. You have to wait for pressure to dissipate before opening 👌

A little less texture and oomph than a real Nespresso machine - but pretty close by all other ways of brewing coffee pods considered

TBH I haven't tried on the NS2, though have been very disappointed with reusable pods. as a majority fail to have the capacity for coffee. It's usually around 4.5g, which is a lot less than Nespresso actually use, and thus it creates a very weak cup vs using PODS. I'd be more inclined to purchase compatible pods.

I tried this this morning with a Bluecup reusable pod and it was fine. No damage to the pod and it seemed to operate just as with the single use pods.

Hello there, I bought mine two years ago and it is not working anymore. I made two espressos and it seems like the machine does’t get pressure. Does anyone knows what I have to do?

It may be one or two of the small lugs in the machine. Wacaco are great for keeping all units in good working order. Best contact who you bought it off and hopefully they can help you repair it 🫶

It's messy. When removing the outlet body, fluid sprays and drips out. Have a towel underneath the unit when pumping. The worst is taking the outlet body off after making espresso. The damn thing won't come off. You need to wait till the section cools down to remove it. Don't expect to make double shots with this. I like the unit. The drinks are good. But, I'll keep my original NS unit also and it can make more shots quickly.

Crap product. The smooth finish made the tight top impossible to remove without a jar opening tool. Somehow the water however hot results in cold coffee. I sent mine back and reverted to the older version. Not good.
