why cant you just draw it all up without the picture in background? it would still be to scale what ever you choose! im doing my backyard and was gonna buy visio, but i have no plans to upload, im just designing it.

You can take a Google Earth image of your backyard and have actual dimensions to design around. Unless of course you have a huge tree canopy blocking the yard from big brother. Lol.
