Thank you, there is always something new to learn. Have you ever done an elephant in pastel . I’m working on one now and find it a real challenge.

Thank you Sue. I have never used soft pastels. The ones I have are a medium softness. Great tips and explanation of using Unison soft pastels.

Thank you so much Sue for an action packed session. There are quite a few hints you mentioned that I am keen to try. It was very freeing to hear that there isn't one right way to paint in pastels.

You are such a great teacher! I just found your channel and I have learned so much even in the first tutorial about painting around animals eyes. Thank you for all you do I am a beginning pastelist. I’ve worked in other mediums but I am drawn to the fresh colors you can get using the sticks thank you

I'm a beginner pastelist. You have given some great tips here! I especially like the one about using a tourtillon to apply pastels and also to shade. I never would have thought of that! And not being afraid to get my face closer to the painting to see where I'm putting down the marks. Thank you for sharing!

You just shown me how hard these pastels are. They don't blend well. Thank you. I will find another brand. I did enjoy your tips for cleaning the sticks.

Could you please tell me the name of those boxes you found at Ebay. I can't find them!

Please, let me know the name of a true red. Not an orangy red but a true red! Im trying to decide but watching at the colors online aint easy. I have in my cart the Red 1 and the Additional 15... but I dont know which one to add to my order! Don't even know if one of those two is actually a true red, or if is a different one what I need! Im looking for a true red, like fire truck red!
