I have the same router. I do to take a connection from the neighbour to my router (both routers are same model) once the ethernet cable connected the wifi signel dropped and not shows till i reset. Again i connect the same cable signal drops..

Your first router in this video is on firmware version 1.06 any idea from where I can get this firmware version. Version 1.05 has many issues and missing smart connect feature where as I can see this feature in version 1.06.

Hi sorry i tried every possible way to use extra router as Access Point without ethernet cable i checked with Etisalat agent also also as per Etisalat its not possible. They have their own firmware which deos not support this feature. u have to use wire or extender device.

So i saw your video about turning a Etisalat dir 853 into a WiFi extender and I did that and it was successful.
