Very helpful bro.I really needed this! However the User interface of the upwork website you showed has changed a bit. e,g: the download Desktop app is located down in the page footer. Also it's just "Desktop app" not "time tracker with Desktop app". Regardless, I was able to apply your instructions successfully.

I have an offer for a Paid Ads job and I need to understand what they need, set up the ad manager, analyze the ad visuals, create an ad strategy, execute the ad, and create an ad report. Would it be appropriate to start tracking time when I am still in the “understand what they need” phase? Thank you!

Hi Monica, if the task is completed in less than 15 hours, you should stop tracking the time when the task is done and let your client know. If you need more time to complete the task, after working 15 hours, you can ask your client to raise the number of hours. If they approve - you can continue working on the task, and if they refuse - you have to send what is already completed and wait for the next week to work on the rest of the task. I hope you got it clear. Thank you
