Yes you can use smartphone remote app to use your Projector. Try different setting from this app. and let me know you figure it out or not. Stay tune I will make a video about this issue soon.

My Airplay suddenly stopped working after an Airplay update popped up and I downloaded it. How do I fix this?

First unlink and remove the paired or connected device then restart the device. After restarting the device connect the projector again.
