Thank you SO FLIPPING MUCH!!!!! We just got this machine to start off a small coffee shop until we hit a high volume and get a 3 group and I was just going insane with the volumetrics. It all makes sense now lmao. Thank you so much!

This is great.. Could I ask two questions: Would you recommend this over the decent machines? Can you reset the pressure, so for example can you drop the pressure from 9 bars to 6? Thank you for your time
@BosHK2 жыл бұрын
Hi Azza, which machine would depend on your personal taste and preference. I looked at the Decent machine and love all its features but I wanted a more traditional size machine. For the Prima, yes I can change the brew pressure, I use 6 bars for med/light roast, 9 bars for darker roast. For the price and features, there is nothing out there that can beat the Decent, especially if you think you will be profiling alot.

@@BosHK Thank you BosHK .. The look and quietness of the prima is a winner! The Decent machine has a lot of features but the noise it makes is ridiculously and the E1Prima is just a great looking machine that pulls incredible shots. Never knew you could lower the bar and that's all I really want. Was considering the lelit bianca. I noticed on one of your videos someone mentioned that you can't see the temperature of the boiler is that correct?
@BosHK2 жыл бұрын
Hi Prima is loud when the pump comes on to refill Yes you can lower the pressure but its not made to 'pressure profile' but I will be doing a video on 'trying to pressure profile with Prima' The only real time indicator on APP is the brew pressure Temp of boiler is set on APP or on grouphead but it doesn't show temp while you are brewing because it shows to timer. There's not that many machines that shows real time grouphead temp unless its a E61 with temperature gauge mod

@@BosHK ok great thank you so much, I'll wait for your video on trying to pressure profile. So overall you would recommend the machine? Thank you for your help

Would you still buy the machine today ? I just wondered as there are some people with issues software and hardware.
@BosHK2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for very late reply. Would I buy it again....hmmm........from what I know now, I would probably have put the budget into EG-1 grinder. If your budget can cover it, E1 Prima is great. It all those little tiny things that make it awesome.

is good for coffee shop ? i mean about 25-50 cups per day
@BosHK Жыл бұрын
Hi, if your distributor is reliable or you have access to a Service centre, then yes, the machine is great. 25-50 cups a day, that about 6 cups an hour, the machine should be able to do this BUT constantly, every hour, everyday, I am NOT sure about reliability. I have no experience pulling this many shots a day, most I have done is 3 cups a day.

@TheArgetho For a small coffee shop, this should work. This machine ran as part of a coffee shop cart and pulled around that range daily for the last 6 or so months. No issues with the machine, and to my knowledge it was designed to handle a commercial load like this one.

Thank you again for another good video on how to use this machine. Quick question. I cant get my hot water to go above 65 dec C. I have turned the screw on the top of the machine full clockwise and thats the hottest it gets. Am I missing something? Please keep the videos coming. Thanks
@BosHK3 жыл бұрын
Hi. I'm actually not sure which screw you are talking about but I will take a look at the technicals. As to your brew temperature, you can set it via the APP or the Buttons on the grouphead. Out of the factory, it should be set around 93C, whether it is actually 93C at the grouphead is another topic for debate. 65C for the hot water is pretty low, I actually haven't tested the temp.
@dimitrimendrinos20493 жыл бұрын
@@BosHK I'm not talking about the brew temperature. I'm talking about the hot water dispenser. There is a screw on top of the machine that can be turned to adjust temperature of the hot water being dispensed. As I said mine is not very hot at all. 65 deg C max.
@BosHK3 жыл бұрын
@@dimitrimendrinos2049 I'll test out my water temp later today. I must admit, I haven't even played with that screw. You turned it clockwise to increase the temp right?

My machine which is ver32 has been great. The extra features like Auto flush, fast warmup time, pressure adjustment, vol dosing are nice to have. The app I do not really use too much, unless I want to see or adjust the pressure. Steam is crazy fast. Hot water ok. Vol dosing is only accurate for a few days and its based on a specific bean you programmed it for.
